Generative AI Insights is a new feature available in EBSCOhost databases that uses artificial intelligence to help you quickly understand your search results and locate the most relevant research articles.
- When you perform a search in any EBSCOhost database, the Generative AI Insights section appears below each indexed search result.
- It provides an AI-generated summary of the article’s full text, giving you a concise overview of its key ideas and main findings.
How to use Generative AI Insights:
- Go to your preferred EBSCOhost database (e.g., Business Source Ultimate, Art and Architecture Source, Communication and Mass Media Complete, Teacher Reference Center, Regional Business News, etc.).
- Enter your search terms and click Search.
- Under each result, locate the Generative AI Insights section.
- Click “View AI-Generated Summary” to read the summary of the full text.
Important: AI-generated summaries are provided to support your understanding and should not replace critical reading of the original article. Always verify and cite from the primary source.
Tip: Use Generative AI Insights to scan and compare multiple articles quickly—especially during topic exploration or literature reviews.
